Do you want to be a part of developing the green energy system? We seek a skilled person to assist on new business development on biomethane and hydrogen. You will prepare business cases, handle economic aspects in relation to regulation, and maintain business ownership in some of our big infrastructure projects.By year 2030, Denmark aims to cover the entire gas consumption with biogas and green gas, to achieve full climate neutrality by closer interaction (sector coupling) between the gas electricity and a new hydrogen system. We therefore need a business developer to ensure that we have an overview of consequences of the economy, risks and progress towards strategic goals. You will become part of an organisation in Energinet (Gastransmission), where values such as flexibility and work-life balance are high on the agenda. You will be part of the Business Development and Strategy department in Energinet Gastransmission a subsidiary in Energinet. The team consists of 10 experts supporting the management on a strategic level, while collaborating with many other entities and areas of expertise within Gastransmission, the business departments and corporate management in Energinet. Team work and strong networking skills are key requirements to succeed in the position. Your work often has direct link and use for top management.Your overall tasks will be to combine business development with the different economic aspects including economic regulation. You know what it takes to facilitate business development processes in a company and at the same time, you can bring your financial knowledge into play, first and foremost in relation to developing our company, to make sure that our decisions are as data- and risk-based as possible.The daily financial controlling is managed by our finance department and will not be part of this job. But it is of course very important to collaborate closely with our financial business partners.Your key responsibilities are likely:Driving business strategies and development initiatives from start to end Developing green energy business initiatives, which assess the regulatory and economic consequences Handling stakeholders - building trustful relations across the organisation Develop and maintain decision scenarios for management to transform complex economic analysis with large amount of data input into transparent, comprehensible material Preparing of various economic and financial analyses to support business decisions Support to development of economic models in coordination with other departments incl. corporate finance that enables strategic long-term decisions The person we are looking for
We envision that you have a strong background within financial analysis, 3-5 years of relevant experience and a relevant educational background e.g., Cand.Merc. Experience with regulated public entities and/or socioeconomic analysis is a plus. It is a requirement that you are fluent in Danish and/or English.You are motivated by creating results, but you also feel good being a team member.Others would describe you with high relationship skills at all levels - both internally within an organization and externally directed. You are a team player, but you manage also to be very self-driven. You thrive both in the operational and strategic level, delivering material and knowledge for both the specialist in the field and top management. You work persistently and structured with your assignments and are comfortable navigating complexity. You have an innovative and curious approach and have previously been part of transformation processes. You know how to target both oral and written communication to different professional profiles, who do not have the same background knowledge as you.Application and Contact Details
