Maersk is looking for a Strategy Manager to join their Strategy team. We at Maersk are on a historic transformation of our business, growing and rethinking the way we engage with customers and partners. All supporting out vision to become the global integrator of container logistics. In addition, Maersk is taking a leading role on decarbonizing global logistics – a major contributor to global warming.
The Strategy team is responsible for defining and driving the overall strategic direction of Maersk, by setting the roadmap and identifying key c-suite priorities, the threats/challenges they need to prepare for and business opportunities. You will be joining a small team of driven strategy professionals working in an inclusive and non-hierarchical environment that values opinion and independent thought.

Key responsibilities
The strategy manager will have the following key responsibilities:
• Develop decision support material for key strategic decisions involving problem definition, analysis of situation, evaluation of options and recommendation
• Conduct insightful diagnostics through analysis, expert interviews, and workshops
• Communicate conclusions and recommendations in PowerPoint presentations and memos
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation
• Provide ad hoc management support on various tasks.
We are looking for
The ideal candidate demonstrates thefollowing key skills and experiences:
• A Master’s degree with outstanding academic results in a numbers-driven field such as Finance, Economics, or Engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience from either management consulting, corporate strategy, business development or other analytical roles
• Outstanding analytical thinking
• A flair for strategic thinking
Further, the ideal candidate is an independent and outgoing team player with excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to constructively engage, guide and challenge across functions and disciplines. You are a goal oriented and self-driven individual, who thrives on assuming responsibility and achieving results independently and as part of a team.
