Key responsibilities

The key responsibility in this role to take control of our investment project modelling and enable us to model different projects simultaneously, mapping their assumptions and pointing out key sensitivities to form crucial input for our investment decisions. Your ability to convert outcomes into meaningful analysis and decision-making material will be important for success in this role.

Additionally, the financial analyst will be responsible for

  • Conducting scenario analysis and point out project risks
  • Perform valuation analysis
  • Maintain financial models and assumptions sheets
  • Prepare presentation for senior management and investment committee
  • developing business cases,
  • project due diligence,
  • setting standards and developing best practices,
  • project financing support.

You will be reporting to the Head of FP&A and you will be working with all levels of our organization and have multiple touchpoints in our team. Due to the criticality of the role you will be joining as one of the first hires to the team, and you will therefore be an contributor in shaping the culture and standards of the team.

As investment opportunities being explored in many geographies there will be some opportunities for travelling.

Who we are looking for

The ideal candidate is a finance professional with a few years of experience within the field of investment analysis and financial modelling. A strong understanding of finance and ‘business drivers’ is fundamental to the position, and it is a clear plus if you have experience within valuation or financial due diligence as well as further professional finance qualifications.

We expect you to have an analytical mindset, excellent technical modelling skills and good sense of detail, combined with a can-do attitude and a self-starter mentality being able to see opportunities and invite yourself to the table.

You have strong Excel and Powerpoint skills and a basic understanding of accounting concepts.

You are used to work independently with an ability to influence stakeholders through informal leadership. You have effective communication and stakeholder management skills and are able to work with both senior management and employees in a global organization.

The corporate language is English, so you should be fluent in oral as well as written English
