Hi, my name is Mai, and I am the Head of Strategy & Portfolio Management in Svitzer (part of Maersk Group). Right now, I am looking for a new dedicated colleague for a very interesting role with great potential here in our HQ in Copenhagen.
The role as Strategy and Portfolio Analyst in Strategy & Portfolio Management offers great development potential combined with as much responsibility as you can handle. With a direct reporting line to our Head of Strategy & Portfolio Management, you will play an important role in supporting Svitzer’s growth journey. With focus on executing Svitzer’s ambitious Staying Ahead 2025 strategy, we expect you to provide research support to enable strategic decision making, take active part in progressing strategic initiatives, and provide strong analytical support to ensure the continuous improvement and future growth of Svitzer.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
• Perform business analysis and reporting for assigned projects
• Work with management to identify business needs, challenges, and opportunities
• Recommend new techniques and technologies to achieve business goals
• Recommend business improvements based on market and competitive trends
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning
• Interpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making
• Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Build positive and trustful working relationships with relevant stakeholders

You have an analytical and structured approach to your work but also apply logic and pragmatic thinking. You are committed to delivering results and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving corporate environment where decisions are followed by prompt action.
You are devoted to meet expectations from our global organization, and you enjoy taking ownership and responsibility, working in teams, and delivering a quality product. Your analytical skills enable you to keep focus on and deal with complex issues. You are a strong communicator and an acknowledged team player with a high degree of personal integrity. You have a positive attitude and have outspoken collaboration skills.
In addition:
• Relevant Master’s degree in Finance, Economics and/or Strategy
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (recent graduates are also invited to apply)
• Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in both oral and written English
• You must hold a valid Danish residence and work permit
