Biotech is positioned to be one of the most important industries we can leverage to fight pandemics, food shortages, extend our lives and much more.
It’s a high-tech industry that is well funded. But it’s also an industry bound by bureaucracy, traditions, and protocols. This means that many of the new advancements within IT are not utilized as well as they could be, and this is why there is opportunity in this field.
That’s why we are looking for help scouting for new software based ideas within the biotech field. You will need to do research online looking for interesting ideas, and new trends in the industry. When you find something interesting you find and talk to stakeholders to further improve and validate your idea.
The goal is to find several good ideas and validate the best idea so much so we can close the first round of funding and build the idea.
Biotech could for example be drugs, food, traditional biotech, agriculture, bioinformatics etc.
The ideal candidate will be studying on a master’s degree level, with at least one year left of the education. Furthermore, you should have knowledge both within business and biotech.
You will need to be outgoing, so you can talk to key persons, get feedback on the ideas and improve them.
If all goes well, there is an opportunity to continue working on the idea, help build the actual company, and receive equity in the company as well.
The job will mainly be remote with flexible working hours. We would have a weekly physical meeting, where we evaluate on the process.
