Power Solutions Blades Module Blade Material & Process Blade Support
The new development engineer will be part of the Blade Support department which is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of the blade design intent in development, factories, and service with an aim to minimise total full life cost of ownership of our blade module.
The Blade support team will specifically focus on ensuring identified CoPQ (cost of poor quality) issues are rapidly understood, contained, mitigated, and prevented in the future. The Blade support team will evaluate, and study cycle time of products and bring down cycle time through the process and design improvements.

Responsibilities
As part of the team, you will participate in a wide selection of allocated CoPQ issues and contribute to the reduction in blade Non-conformities (NCs) for both internal and external blade production sites. You will also be key in analysing cycle time and promote the reductions through process development. The main tasks will include:
• Define and develop NDT methods to be used in blade production & CIM including using root cause analysis to understand, contain and prevent future problems and design faults
• Analyse and improve the reduction of critical Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in the system
• Work closely with factory Technical Support (TS) personnel to identify blade high NC issues
• Work closely with structural, process and BLEC to modify or redesign blades for NDT
• Handle Blade COPQ projects and secure delivery within agreed scope, cost and timeline using six sigma methodology
• Analyse and assess cause and effect of composite structures & assembly deviations
Qualifications
We expect you to hold a bachelor or master's degree in Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent education. Moreover, you are attracted by an international environment with a high level of activity and has some years of experience within some of the following areas:
• NDT methods such as Ultrasonic Testing, Thermography or Laser Shearography
• Experience with thermoset resin systems such as epoxy and polyurethane chemistry
• Developing new composite processing methods, materials or processes; within composite manufacturing or process industry
• Experience with running optimisation and process development projects in manufacturing environments
• Experience with experimental design or multivariable data analysis both planning and treatment of static data and tolerance analysis
• Have knowledge within the composite manufacturing e.g. infusion technology, pre-preg, component assembly, coating and spray painting
