Do you want to be part of developing new and innovative treatments for patients suffering from diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disorders or other chronic rare diseases? Are you a dedicated scientist who is interested in analytical development and project management? Then this position might be a perfect match for you. The Position As a Senior Analytical Scientist, you will be mainly responsible for overseeing the development of analytical methods used for small molecule projects, including the coordination and review of CRO/CMO activities. You will join a talented team consisting of 7 scientists, 6 laboratory technicians and 2 students. You will be responsible for:
  • Challenging, evaluating and troubleshooting on analytical work in collaboration with the CROs/CMOs, including document review

  • Development and validation of chromatographic and IVR (dissolution) methods

  • Contributing actively to ensure that the documentation of the analytical work from the CRO/CMO lives up to the current guidelines and industry standards

  • Supporting and mentoring other scientists and lab technicians with scientific insights on small molecule analysis.

    • Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • A master’s degree within Life Sciences (Natural sciences, Pharmacy, Engineering or other relevant discipline) and a PhD or similar experience

  • Experience with developing and validating UPLC methods and IVR (dissolution) used for analysis of small molecules

  • Ability to balance the quality level of your deliverables in a combined GMP and non-GMP environment

  • Know-how within automation and digitalisation of laboratory processes will be a plus

  • Good communications skills in English, Danish will be a plus.

About the Department Early Phase Oral Analytical Development is part of DP & Analytical Development, which is a sub-division of CMC Development & Scaling. We are responsible for the development and validation of UPLC analytical methods, dissolution methods, and for developing analytical platforms for solid-state characterization. We are also responsible for analytical support and to some extent QC release of oral protein products for preclinical and clinical trials.
