As our new Global Head of Manufacturing Maintenance and Engineering, you will be leading the development and implementation of a standard global maintenance and asset management strategy in global IFP sites. You will report directly to the CVP of Asset Management & Platform Performance and be part of the Leadership Team. As such, you will be able to keep current on all relevant technology advancements and developments in the industry.Your key responsibilities will be:Developing, implementing, and sustaining a global approach for maintenance and asset management, including reliability, leveraging industry’s best practices. Driving global strategies and initiatives to successful and standard execution and assuring in achieving given targets in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Establishing a standard global maintenance and reliability program for all engineering assets/platforms, including the replacement and overall utilization strategy. Leading, maintaining, and sustaining value to maintenance, reliability, and spare parts management programs, including adoption and integration to the Computerized Maintenance Management System processes.
You can also look forward to other tasks, such as optimizing shutdown initiatives throughout the network, tracking maintenance performance, shaping global and local resources coordination approach, following E2E asset lifecycle, in partnership with the sites. You will have a pivotal role in ensuring that technical training programs are established and deployed, with the aim of simplifying, streamlining, and standardizing the maintenance process and leveraging the industry best practices (following Good Engineering and Good Manufacturing Practices). Together, we will be applying reliability engineering principles to achieve an increase in uptime and process capability across the network.As this is a global role, travelling can be expected (around 25% of the time).Qualifications
There can be many ways to this position, and you may come from various industries. We imagine, however, that an ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:An academic degree in engineering or a related technical field. Technical field experience in a global context, including international assignments. Profound project management knowledge and experience in leading complex projects. Broad leadership experience in engineering and maintenance, with a track record in driving business development and managing cross-functional projects with many internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in English. On a personal level, you have a high level of integrity, are open-minded and curious, and therefore constantly on the lookout for how to improve processes. You are a team player, a great collaborator, and you utilize your relationships with your stakeholders to achieve success in your projects and tasks. You have a strong personal drive, are ambitious, and act as a problem-solver. You can communicate complex technical issues in a clear manner, and you have the ability to work with senior leadership teams at manufacturing sites and in global headquarters.At Novo Nordisk, we value diversity among our employees. With almost 100 colleagues, we play a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across a global network of factories in Asia, Europe as well as North and South America to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity. AMPP is an organizational unit in Injectable Finished Products (IFP), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk.
