Do you want to map company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives and identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees globally? Then come play with us as our new Group Training and Development Manager at our HQ in Odense, Denmark.
As our Group Training and Development Manager, you will build and execute global training plans to support strategic initiatives and close competence gaps.
Our aim is to ensure that we have the competencies and capabilities to support KOMPAN’s exciting and ambitious growth journey. Our new Group Training & Development Manager will help ensuring this - and will join our Group HR team based at our headquarters in Odense, Denmark.
You will be a key factor in ensuring that your colleagues develop new and better skills by making sure the right framework is in place, that we have outstanding trainers and training materials, and that we offer the right support and monitor the effects. Hence, you will ensure we have the needed training to stay compliant.
Your key tasks include:
You will work from HQ, but you will travel to local destinations to conduct needed on-ground training or setting up with local partners.
You hold a professional training education or training experience - industries could vary from private, commercial, public, or military experience.
To take on this role, you possess an enthusiastic interest in and a solid understanding of learning and development. You can work both at a strategic level for T&D as well as delivering excellent training and development material and detailed planning.
Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
The successful KOMPAN Training & Development Manager possesses great communication skills, is highly structured and has a good eye for detail. You bring a strong personality and can work across organizational boundaries. You are good at building inter-company relations and communicating to address the different stakeholders’ primary interests.
KOMPAN is the global leader in outdoor play and fitness areas. Our purpose is to create healthier and happier communities through play and active living. The KOMPAN Group's main activity is the development, production, and sale of playgrounds, outdoor sports, and fitness facilities. In addition, the company sells service and installation services in connection with product sales.
KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 playgrounds or fitness sites every month somewhere across 90 countries. Of these, 23 countries do so through our own direct operation and the remainder through carefully selected quality agents and partners. Our global head office is in Odense, Denmark.
The global footprint has expanded significantly over the years, and includes production sites in the Czech Republic, Poland, design studios in Denmark and the Czech Republic, and 23 country offices around the world including Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, and South America.

- Developing training material and target setting to support our strategy.
- Planning and execution of training.
- Monitoring target achievements and/or corrective actions to reach goals.
- Developing training tools, systems, and dashboards to support all training in the KOMPAN Group.
You will work from HQ, but you will travel to local destinations to conduct needed on-ground training or setting up with local partners.
A professional trainer enthusiastic about learning and development
You hold a professional training education or training experience - industries could vary from private, commercial, public, or military experience.
To take on this role, you possess an enthusiastic interest in and a solid understanding of learning and development. You can work both at a strategic level for T&D as well as delivering excellent training and development material and detailed planning.
Our ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:
- A proven record of accomplishment within training and development - these accomplishments might come from various experiences.
- Knowledge of LMS, training tools, online learning platforms, planning and execution is relevant.
- Knowledge and experience in management/leadership training is relevant.
- Are fluent in English, orally and in writing.
