Become a part of our Strategic Business Development team in the Water Division

With direct reference to our Head of Strategic Business Development, which is a part of our Product and Commercial Management function, you will join a dedicated team with focus on developing Kamstrup’s global water business in a 5-year horizon based on deep market understanding and customer insights. You will maintain a holistic overview across our business and be the front runner in developing our overall strategic direction, as well as ensuring buy-in throughout our organization.
A position with the opportunity to impact on the strategic development of Kamstrup’s future water business
In the position as Strategic Business Developer your primary responsibility is to develop and implement the Kamstrup water division strategy, based on deep analysis of customer needs, market drivers, regulatory frameworks and technology trends and in strong collaboration with stakeholders on all levels.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Developing our water strategy in a 5 year perspective and ensure deliveries into a structured strategy process, aligning with stakeholders across focus countries and functional areas
• Take lead in implementing the water strategy in the organization by driving our strategy implementation initiatives
• Monitor market trends and competitive environment together with our Market Intelligence team
• Drive the further development of the product portfolio strategies on a high level
• Ensure that our investment strategy aligns with the overall strategic focus areas
• Engage in Public/Regulatory Affairs to influence future legislation relevant in a 5-year horizon
In the job, you can expect around 10-15 travel days per year.
Personality matters
You have an educational background at Master’s level within Business Administration, Finance or a similar relevant commercially minded education, perhaps supplemented with an MBA.
In addition, it is a requirement that you have:
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience building business strategies in international organizations
• Hands on experience with strategy implementation initiatives
• A deep understanding of markets analysis and market trends as well as a strong business acumen
It will be an advantage if you have experience working within a solution oriented high-tech organisation and have experience from working with industry organizations or regulatory offices.
As a person you have a commercial and strategic mindset that enables you to see thing in a long term perspective. You are proactive and have a self-starter mentality. You are driven by change and taking the business to another level. Lastly, you possess strong storytelling capabilities, and you are able to speak to all levels within organizations and to tailor the message accordingly.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish language is an asset, but not a requirement.
