Business Development Manager for Demant Hearing Aid export

Who are we?
Demant Hearing Aid Export is responsible for the sales of four Hearing Aid brands across 80 markets from the Philippines in the East, stretching across Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, North Africa, Latin America to Ecuador in the West.
Export consists of teams in Denmark, Switzerland and Russia along with individual employees in the US and in Colombia. We go to market via local Partners - “Distributors” – e.g. independent private companies representing one or more of the Demant brands in their respective markets.
We have the ambition to become more visible and even more supportive towards our business partners by offering direct support to those Distributors willing and able to drive growth locally. Also, we can benefit from a better understanding of the composition of our commercial activities, so we are looking forward to having close support of a person with strong analytical and project management skills.
Your primary task will be to:
- Be a “Revenue Booster”
- Support a commercial excellence agenda across the partners and markets
- Drive solid and actionable data analysis on our business performance
- Be part of driving the growth strategy
- Which are the next growth markets? - market sizing / opportunity mapping / action plan / investment plan
- Deep-dive into the largest opportunities
- Collect and make available best practices from the Group and other Distributor markets
- Execute and follow up
- Be or become a Retail and Digital Marketing champion
- Build, nurture and develop relationships between Demant and the Distributors and among the Distributors
- Drive a project agenda across the teams to get the common toolbox sharpened
- Support in preparing business review meetings a year and the annual budget
- Monthly reporting / analysis / controlling and interact with the team to understand underlying reasons for performance
- Drive the Export Compliance agenda
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy working with other people – you are empathic and insist on building networks across the organisation and with customers. You are used to analysing a business, you insist on understanding the numbers and underlying drivers and you are digitally curious and savvy.
You are well experienced in driving projects with an ambition to also work in the field supporting and driving strategic projects in the markets. You have probably been a business consultant and have a solid toolbox allowing you to analyse business problems and come up with methods to build lasting structures to solve them.
Finally, you have a commercial mind-set always keeping in mind that customers and partners are ultimately those we serve.
