System Development Engineer - Audiological Solution

Make a real difference
We are looking for a motivated engineer with a background in system development or audiology to join our Data, Audiology and Sensor development team. You will work with a team of professionals to develop solutions that make a real difference in the lives of our end users (hearing impaired people) and our customers (hearing care professionals).
Focus on System Development
In your day to day work you will work as part of a scrum team practicing an agile methodology. Our team focuses on end user interaction with our devices as well as related audiological features and DSP. Your role will involve understanding the current system architecture and system design of the hearing instrument devices, for new feature development as well as ensuring new features can be integrated seamlessly into the current system. This includes work on system level requirements, stakeholder alignment, configuration overview, and collaboration with test developers.
It is also crucial that you are diligent and thorough when working with details, and at the same time you can see the bigger picture and assess the consequences of the decisions on the solution. Joining us you can look forward to the following tasks:
- Feature design in cooperation with other teams
- Development of requirements, system architecture, and design
- Collaboration with our test team on verification
- Idea generation and innovation projects for audiological solutions
- Evaluation of usage data and reception of new and old features
- Document and develop solutions of high quality to comply with standards of regulated bodies
Could we be a match?
We imagine that you have an academic background on bachelor or master level within engineering, audiology, psychoacoustics, acoustics or similar. We are looking for a candidate with some years of experience within audiology, particularly knowledge or experience in working with tinnitus, would be a clear advantage.
You should be passionate about user interaction and have a genuine interest in creating a meaningful audiological experience for our end users, and to drive technical solutions in a complex and controlled system.
On the personal side you are structured in your way of working and using guidelines and documentation comes naturally to you. You are self-driven and comfortable with taking initiative to reach out to and manage many stakeholders.
