The job
In the Mission Solutions Business Unit, we are providing Customer Specific solutions for Danish Defense and international customers within Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR), Combat Management Systems (CMS) for the Royal Danish Navy and Integrated Air & Missile Defence (IAMD). We are looking for a commercially strong and result-oriented Business Development Manager with excellent communication and personal skills to master all aspects of the business development process.
Your responsibilities
In close collaboration with your colleagues, you will be responsible for Business Development and Sales of Customer Specific solutions and projects in the Mission Solutions Business Unit, managing your own portfolio of customers and prospects, primarily in the ISR domain.
You will be working with identifying and generating business opportunities, through project scoping and proposals to negotiating contracts. A positive, energetic and winning attitude is critical to succeed in this job as well as strong business acumen as you will have many touch points across the organization.
Your primary Customers and Stakeholders will be the Danish Defence and Defence organisations and industries across NATO and EU. More specifically your main tasks are:
Qualifications/Your Profile
Ideally you have experience from the defence and a combination of commercial and technical knowledge that makes you able to work with customer requirements and drive the sales process from start to end. You have a relevant bachelor or master education within business or engineering; however, we value relevant experience over any specific educational background.
Preferably you have:
As a person you are self-motivated, proactive and persistent with strong analytical skills. You see the value in working together in a small team and you enrich your colleagues with your new ideas and drive to achieve results. You are a trustworthy and a strong relationship-builder who enjoy interacting with both customers and colleagues.

The position is based at our headquarters in Lystrup, Aarhus or at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen (new location). You can expect approximately 25-40 travel days per year, primarily within Europe, in addition to some commuting between Århus and Copenhagen.

Bear in mind that candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance by the Danish Defence Intelligence Service. This entails that candidates, as a minimum, have stayed within NATO/EU for the last 7 years only interrupted by short stays abroad.

- Support development of sales materials and marketing campaigns
- Participate in industry exhibitions and seminars
Qualifications/Your Profile
Ideally you have experience from the defence and a combination of commercial and technical knowledge that makes you able to work with customer requirements and drive the sales process from start to end. You have a relevant bachelor or master education within business or engineering; however, we value relevant experience over any specific educational background.

- Experience with technical project sales
- Experience working with international sales
- Excellent English skills (written and oral)
- Excellent presentation skills
- A good technical understanding
- Military background e.g. from joint operations
