Terma A/S is an innovative Danish company delivering high-end niche products, technologies, and capabilities for space, radar systems, coastal- and traffic surveillance, aerostructures for the F-16 and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter, as well as advanced self-protection systems for aircrafts and helicopters.

The challenge
We are continuously working on market leading technological solutions within the situational awareness area. One of the key tools for this is AI, next gen technologies and other advanced software solutions. We want to increase the speed and improve the commercial impact of our new solutions, and for this we need a new colleague who will be responsible for establishing a close and frequent contact to our customers, creating strong customers collaborations, and thereby building a pipeline for our future products – in other words be responsible for the entire commercial part of this process, in close collaboration with the VP of AI.

We are looking for a profile with a strong commercial experience and someone who is very much used to seeking out new customers and building strong and lasting relationships with them.

The main responsibilities and tasks
As a part of our AI business strategy, we have launched an internal accelerator and are looking for an experienced business developer who will spend 50% of her/his time on getting feedback from customers and 50% on assisting the VP of AI in running the accelerator.

The main tasks include:

  • Lead the commercial work on new innovative projects
  • Assist the VP of AI in managing the Terma Accelerator
  • Dialogue with management in new customer-, partner-, and sales channels
  • Built business cases and go-to-market strategies for upper management approval


Your personal and professional competences
For this position we value your personal qualities; strong drive, high energy, ownership, and passion developing a small, but very vital strategic part of our business. As a professional, you have a commercial mindset and find yourself comfortable in reaching out to new potential customers and creating the dialog with the customers we need to develop successful new products. Building a business case and pitching to clients and upper management must not be a new thing for you.

Even though this is a technical complex area, we are not looking for technical profile, but you must share our passion for technology and advanced products and have a knack for understanding the value proposition created by new technologies.
Your commercial experience does not have to come from the defense or space industry, but it would of cause give you an advantage.

You have an educational backround with a Master’s degree in Business Economics or similar.
