Are you experienced within Clinical Operations and eager to drive process optimisation to facilitate world-class execution of clinical trials? Do you thrive to work with many different stakeholders across the organisation? Then you might be our new Competency Development Specialist(s).

Two of our great colleagues have moved to other positions within Novo Nordisk, hence we are looking for two new great colleagues to join our team.

These positions offer a unique opportunity to directly impact the way we operate within our global Clinical Operations organisation as well as ensuring process optimisation benefitting our global organisation.

The positions

Both positions are expected to engage in process optimisation projects aiming for efficient, innovative and fit-for-purpose processes enabling world-class clinical trial execution. You will have a key role in cross-functional improvement projects, where you will contribute to project deliverables and oversight of the project. You are also expected to be proactive in leveraging insights into external collaborations/networks.

One of the positions will be responsible for driving initiatives related to Novo Nordisk’s entry into new therapeutic areas in close collaboration with the global clinical trial teams and stakeholders from other functional areas. This includes ownership of a developed framework, called Clinical Development Essentials, as well as relevant sharepoint information. Involvement in cross-organisational process Groups is also part of this role.

The other position is a principal specialist position, where involvement in integration activities, due diligence and inspections are to be expected. You will get responsibility for driving complex process related matters and you will proactively engage in ‘hot topics’, when ClinOps expertise is needed. Depending on your specific expertise, you will also get your ‘area of expertise’ within our team.

Both positions will be part of a dynamic department, where we offer high impact, and where you are expected to take ownership and responsibility to drive change and process improvements in the global organisation.

Qualifications

You have a degree in pharmacy, medicine, science or similar and a strong command of written and spoken English. You have solid knowledge of GCP and extensive experience in Clinical Operations combined with a strong insight into the value chain within a pharma company.

You take a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving and you are eager to optimise and simplify processes around you. You are proactive, courageous, determined and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are curious, you work according to a risk intelligent mindset and you have a can-do attitude. You are goal-oriented and a team player and you thrive working across skill areas and cultures in a global organisation.

About the department

The position’s are based in the Clinical Operations Office within the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. We are a team of 16 dedicated colleagues working globally to facilitate process optimisation and competency building of our colleagues working with product development projects.
