As Global Medical Manager, your tasks will involve driving a strong scientific exchange with special focus on insulin icodec, a once-weekly insulin and IcoSema, a fixed-ratio combination of once-weekly insulin icodec and once-weekly semaglutide. In this role, you will provide timely, accurate, and credible scientific and medical input for a variety of projects related to insulin treatment and diabetes. Your main responsibilities involve effective collaboration and communication with external medical doctors that are Key Opinion Leaders, and internal stakeholders across commercial, clinical drug development, safety, operations, regions, and affiliates. With your background as a medical doctor, you will be trusted to provide medical input to clinical trials that includes trial design, protocol development, and investigator selection and at later stages to drive the scientific exchange based on the results from these trials. The position will give you an opportunity to connect with Key Opinion Leaders and gather medical and scientific information that can optimize drug development and treatment of patients. You will play a key role in developing publications based on clinical trial results which requires your ability to interact with authors, statisticians, medical writers, and other stakeholders. In addition to this you will guide various teams that are actively involved in developing promotional materials and other legal and medical aspects of the projects. You should expect international travel of approximately 10% every year. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Qualifications For this role, we are looking to connect with candidates who have: Medical Doctor degree; Ph.D. is considered a plus but is not mandatory Track record of +2 years in clinical practice and/or research Previous pharmaceutical industry experience and/or experience in clinical practice or research within diabetes it would be an advantage Experience with stakeholder management and project management is a plus Fluency in written and spoken English (corporate language) On a personal level, you must be action-oriented with a strong drive, focus on results and problem solving. You need to be a team-player with good peer relationships, high integrity, and strong communication skills. About the department
