About the department
Clinical Operations Office is part of the Clinical Operations Centre of Expertise. Now we are seeking a new colleague to join our amazing team, and we need you to ensure that our current and future learning solutions reach their full potential, pushing the boundaries of how we deliver impactful training and performance support.
You will find a dynamic, flexible team that enjoys a shared breakfast every Friday. It's a place where work-life balance matters and learning never stops, making every day an opportunity to grow.
The position
As our new Competency Development Professional, you will work with individuals and teams to understand the needs of our global clinical operations colleagues, propose optimal learning solutions, and drive real business outcomes. This is done in close collaboration with your training colleagues in the Clinical Operations Office. You will be part of a dynamic organization where you are expected to take significant ownership and responsibility for the training 'portfolio' within our global organization.
Furthermore, you will play a key role in: Collaborating with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to identify learning needs and determining tailored solutions that directly address these needs. Designing a diverse range of learning experiences that are user-friendly and effective for colleagues globally. Establishing sustainable best practices around learning experience design and implementation to ensure long-term success. Initiating and managing projects related to learning experience design, performance consulting, and performance support resources to ensure a consistent approach across the Clinical Operations organization. Act as a system expert for our learning management system. Continually learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in learning and development, and incorporating them into our Clinical Operations' learning strategy. Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have: An academic degree in education science, life sciences, or another relevant field. 5+ years’ experience managing Learning & Development Projects within a large and complex organization. Experience within the life science industry, specifically in clinical operations or development, would be a great asset but not a requirement. A proven track record of performance consulting, learning experience design, and the creation of effective performance support resources. Demonstrable background in establishing effective learning and development governance and working closely with stakeholders to ensure it creates value for both stakeholders and Novo Nordisk. Fluency in written and oral English. As a person, you are a natural inquisitor, asking many questions to get to the bottom of things, and won't stop following trails until you have validated proof of the need for a learning experience. You thrive in an informal and highly passionate environment, working closely with colleagues who are not afraid to constructively challenge each other. Overall, you are a team player with excellent collaboration skills to interact with diverse and cross-functional stakeholders.
