The position As a Clinical Pharmacology Specialist, you will be responsible for driving clinical pharmacology programmes and trials supporting early and to late-stage development projects. You will work closely with medical specialists, clinical operations and other scientists, and apply your scientific skills to contribute to the development and strategy of the clinical development program within diabetes. You will lead cross-functional project teams and represent Clinical Pharmacology in the global project teams. This is a 1-year maternity cover role that offers you the chance to elevate your career, expand your professional network, and work in a global and cross-functional environment. Qualifications To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, complemented by a Ph.D
  • Preferably experience within Clinical Pharmacology in pharma or biotech industry
  • Strong scientific mindset with knowledge in Clinical Pharmacology and pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamic
  • Experience in planning and conducting clinical trials
  • Experience in managing cross-functional global teams in a dynamic environment
  • You are proficient in both written and spoken English

About the department The Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects in the Diabetes area. We are a department of dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting. We play a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk, and work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology. We are scientifically responsible for the planning and oversight of Clinical Pharmacology trials and provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions, and regulatory submissions worldwide.
