The position As a Senior Strategic Trial Planning Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the development of the overall country allocation and recruitment strategy (CARS) for a portfolio within a therapeutic area

  • Combining a variety of data insights with trial requirements, with focus on global cross-portfolio strategic considerations and insights

  • Building a cross-functional and strong core team to strengthen the development of a robust country allocation and trial recruitment strategy with the operational aspects in focus

  • Collaborating closely with data scientists in our sister department in setting up data insights

  • Initiating and driving a number of cross-functional CARS teams, while driving change process to optimise how we work both now and in the future

  •   In GTPI we leverage datasets to support you as a Senior Strategic Trial Planning Manager in driving the CARS teams. We are a dynamic team and evolving with full speed, so it is a key requirement that you are confident and inspired by a flexible and changing environment, not directly regulated by GxP and detailed guidelines. Additionally, each CARS team is unique and presents its own set of challenges depending on the trial and project at hand. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity for you to be a key function driving your CARS teams in a collaborative manner navigating proactively the priorities for the project and portfolio without a manual. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Master’s or bachelor's degree in science combined with minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in clinical development and professional proficiency in English

  • The ability to effectively analyse project and portfolio specific data to ensure accurate and efficient utilization

  • Demonstrated change willingness and curiosity in previous role(s)

  • A quality mindset and ability to prioritize your work in a fast paced and changing environment

  • Team oriented mindset and the ability to take on a driving role in a team

  • Ideally, you have experience working with clinical trials in clinical operations (start-up and/or recruitment). As a person, it is essential that you can use your strong interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results together with your colleagues. We treasure the positive atmosphere in our team and count on you to engage and participate in a positive manner as well.   About the department  Trial Planning & Allocation is one of two departments in GTPI. GTPI is developing into a centre of expertise within data-driven strategic patient forecasting and recruitment strategy. GTPI is responsible for a strategic allocation of patients coming from more than 40 countries where Novo Nordisk has presence with own local clinical staff. The name is unique to Novo Nordisk, but in many aspects the responsibilities resemble what is well known in the industry as the feasibility strategists. You will become a part of a department of eleven people. We are a relatively diverse group in terms of origin, personal profiles, previous experiences, and educations. One of the things we have in common is a background in health care/science, and a strong engagement in how this diversity are strengthening our team and its deliverables. The function GTPI is anchored in the area of Global Trial Portfolio within the Development organisation.
