Business Development Executive, Solution Sales – ISS Facility Services


Unique opportunity to join ISS as Business Development Executive within Solution Sales. In the role you will sell and develop Integrated Facility Services to ISS´ largest customers that include some of the largest and most successful companies in Denmark. ISS will strengthen the position as the global leader in integrated facility services, by sharpening focus on key segments, accelerating technology investments, and introducing a new globally aligned operation model. ISS is looking for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join the Solution Sales team on this journey.

In the role, you will report to the Solution Sales Director and will be based in ISS’ office in Copenhagen.

About Solution Sales


Solution Sales is part of the Commercial organization at ISS, with approximately 40 colleagues, covering the full value chain from business cases to bid management and marketing. Solution Sales is responsible for executing larger Integrated Facility Services sales processes, which include Food, Cleaning, Technical Service and Workplace Experience.

Your job


Your key objective will be to deliver on sales-targets in line with the country top-line growth ambition. You will manage the entire sales process – from opening the dialogue to “closing the deal” and for contributing to a strong performance culture in the team. You will take active lead in customer activities, where you will manage key stakeholders at C-level and influence decision-makers

Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver on sales objectives by defining targets and strategy for customers and ensuring a balanced and updated sales pipeline.
  • Actively drive sales, processes, and pipeline.
  • Develop partnerships with customers by building, retaining, nurturing, and developing customer relationships at senior levels.
  • Become a trusted advisor for customers by influencing senior stakeholders and be strongly involved in both customer development and the sales process.
  • Play an integral part in mapping markets, prospects, competitors, and offerings to be proactive towards customers and to be competitive and offer best in class solutions.
  • Translate customer needs to value-adding and innovative solutions.

Who are you?


You are an ambitious relationship-building sales executive, with a professional, mature, and executive appearance. You possess a strong drive and sense of ownership. You are relentless in pursuing business opportunities and are highly motivated and committed, also by complexity and during long sales processes.

Your performance driven personality is supplemented by proven professional commercial skills:

  • Experience with solution sales from e.g., facility management, people services, hospitality, or the like, and with distinct sales and key account management experience.
  • A successful track record of delivering solution sales of high complexity and in keeping, winning, and growing customers.
  • Experience from building relations to and interacting with C-level and Senior Executives.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Strong skills in MS Office applications and experience with CRM-systems
