Job Description

IFS’s long-term success relies on a strong and committed partner community able to sell and deliver the IFS software promise. The Director, Partner Engagement - Commercial is responsible for establishing, managing, and growing the commercial relationships within a small group of IFS’s most strategic Tier One partners.

This position is Global in scope however will be predominantly focused on activity in North America in the first 12 months. Industry focus includes but is not limited to: Energy & Resources, Telco, Services industries, Utilities and Aerospace and Defense. The individual will be responsible for driving revenue from and with these partners, supporting IFS’s global ambition to achieve 50% partner-led bookings by FY24 (40% in FY2022).

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability with Tier One partners.
  • Manage and grow the commercial relationships with Tier One partners, ensuring that they are aligned with IFS’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Work with Tier One partners to develop and execute demand generation and sales campaigns.
  • Close major account deals in target industries and geographies with Tier One partners.
  • Build and grow a sustainable partnership route to market that drives the partner to develop demand with IFS.
  • Deliver successful regional partner cadence and joint account planning opportunities on a planned and agreed cadence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in partner or vendor management, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Understanding of relevant IT markets.
  • Experience in driving complex sales processes.
  • Able and willing to regularly travel.

Desirable

  • 5+ years of experience working in or with large IT service-based organizations, business-to-business technology consultancies, or ERP-based software industries.
  • Experience in developing partner marketing plans.
  • Experience in systems integration partnering.
