Due to increasing activities in connection with stem cells we are looking for a dedicated professional with ambition and drive to strengthen our GMP Raw Materials team.

About CMC Development

As part of Novo Nordisk’s Research & Development family, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials with the help from approximately 1400 CMC employees and support the entire drug development pipeline.

You will join CMC API Development, a department which is responsible for developing, upscaling and documenting processes for API production to bring the growing pipeline of new drug candidates into clinical trials.

The Position

As GMP Raw Material Responsible you will join a multidisciplinary team with key responsibilities concerning raw materials used for clinical production. Your main responsibility is to manage and coordinate the introduction of new and existing materials especially for stem cell projects. This is a complex process requiring collaboration with numerous stakeholders. It is your responsibility to ensure that the suitability of materials for an intended use is properly evaluated and documented.

You will also manage documentation for the complete raw material value chain and the use of the materials. Documentation must be compliant with authority and GMP guidelines to ensure sufficient control of the materials. This often requires working with ambitious timelines to ensure timely delivery.

Additionally, you will contribute to interdisciplinary project teams and you will also manage and facilitate smaller projects regarding optimization of our working processes. The position gives you a great opportunity to develop both your project management and personal skills.

Qualifications

You hold a scientific academic degree in biology, chemistry, engineering or another relevant discipline at master level or above. As the position requires that you understand the requirements for implementation of raw materials for GMP production, it is preferable that you have practical experience with raw materials used for GMP production or experience within stem cells combined with a high compliance mind-set. Previous experience or relevant courses within project management will be an asset. Work proficiency in both Danish and English is preferable for the position.

As a person, you are open-minded and a good communicator by nature. You have a high level of energy that drives you and inspires your colleagues. You thrive in a changing and dynamic work environment and in a job that requires you to take initiatives and keep an eye on how to continuously improve our working processes. You are a true team-player who enjoys working in close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across functions and departments.

At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication and ambition help us change lives for the better. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
