Pharmaceutical Product Support Area is part of Pharmaceutical Design & Development VP Area, Global R&D, counting app 50 persons divided into three departments, all situated in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen Area. We provide fast, efficient and qualified pharmaceutical documentation and analytical support for all marketed products as well as innovative products at LEO Pharma. The position is placed in our Primary Pack and Formulation Support department, consisting 12 colleagues
Formulation Scientist
Your primary tasks will be:
Write, update and approve formulation and process documentation for registration purposes in connection to manufacturing projects, questions from authorities, renewals and applications for variations for LEO-Pharma marketed products Participate in formulation-related cross-organisational projects across LEO-Pharma manufacturing sites in Denmark, Ireland and France Conduct laboratory scale formulation experiments to support other LEO departments, e.g. manufacturing, QC, and purchasing Coordinate or participate in ad hoc department tasks, e.g. root cause investigations

In the Formulation Support team you will join 7 dedicated, enthusiastic and highly scientific colleagues. Our focus is to provide scientific support for all marketed products in LEO Pharma, focusing on process and formulation aspects within small molecules and biopharm. Our values are courage, trust and mutual respect and helpfulness – and we care about each other.
Your interests and experience
You have a couple of years’ experience within formulation development or support, or with pharmaceutical production. You hold a Master of Science in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry or other relevant areas.
As a support department, we receive a large number of unforeseen and urgent enquiries, and you must therefore thrive in having to juggle a number of tasks and work on several projects at the same time.
You will thrive in Pharmaceutical Product Support if you:
have experience with LEAN and Continues Improvement have a can-do attitude are responsible, flexible, and a competent decision-maker are service minded have strong collaboration skills have strong communication skills and are proficient in English – both spoken and written work independently and systematically enjoy knowledge sharing with your colleagues support your close colleagues to meet project deadlines are good at switching between tasks in long term projects and tasks with short deadline have experience or an interest in project coordination
