Ballerup

Are you looking to further your education (and perhaps vocational) background, to support obtaining clinical evidence that enables regulatory approval of new medical devices? Then this position may be for you…

At Ambu, we develop, produce and sell medical devices, which enable doctors and nurses to save lives and improve patient care. We are currently experiencing a massive success and are looking for a Junior Clinical Research Specialist to join our team.

You will join the growing Global Clinical Affairs department divided into: Clinical Research, Post Market Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and Biosafety. Most of us are based at Ambu Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, but we also have colleagues based at our site in Malaysia, in Germany, and in the Clinical Operation department under establishment in the US. You will be reporting to the Head of Clinical Research placed in Ballerup.

Key Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Premarket clinical activities, assisting the Senior Clinical Research Specialists.
  • Follow regulations and guidelines related to the clinical area
  • Write and review clinical medical device documentation
  • Plan and execute clinical evaluation and investigation activities

You will learn to be a full part of a development project team, where you will become skilled at writing Clinical Evaluation Plans, Clinical Development Plans, and Clinical Evaluation Reports, all of which are cornerstones of device clinical documentation. You will collaborate with internal specialists and external healthcare professionals to help run use simulations, supporting design decisions. You will also discover how to plan and run Clinical Investigations obtaining new clinical evidence, filling the gaps within a given project.

Your responsibilities will grow as your capabilities do, starting off as a support to a more senior colleague, learning to take the lead with mentor support, and moving towards full independence.

Personal Competencies:
The educational background of the desired candidate may vary. It may be medical technology related, human nutrition, veterinary or nursing. We would like to hear from you if you have the drive to learn, deliver and succeed.

As a person you can communicate effectively, are good at creating and maintaining a network, and can make accurate judgements and decisions. Additionally, you have a high level of knowledge in human anatomy, physiology, pathology and relevant disease areas.

Finally, you need to have excellent command of the English language, as this will be your main working language, - verbally and in writing.
