Faculty of Science, Department of Food Science is looking for a dedicated candidate for a 1.5-year Postdoc. position within the section Design and Consumer Behavior starting at the 1st of February 2024, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The roles will be dedicated to
1) Identify and quantify the molecular characteristics and functional properties of protein fractions from fermented agrifood side streams.
2) Establish the applicability of the protein fractions as food ingredient to produce sustainable food products.
3) Further development of product prototypes with the protein ingredients.
The positions will be part of the research group Food Design and Sustainability performing research within innovative food science and technology solutions integrated with research-based sustainability assessment delivering business and policy-decision support for regenerative circular food system designs.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within the project “Produktion af nye proteinrige fødevareingredienser ved fermentering af organiske restprodukter” as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.
The candidate must have qualifications and experience within several of the following areas:
