Most of the work is carried out in projects financed by ESA, EUMETSAT, the EU’s Copernicus Marine (CMEMS), Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) and the NCKF project.
Your main work will be to contribute and lead the development of new ML and AI algorithms within the use of satellite data to improve the satellite products and to enhance the uptake of satellite derived products. You will write peer reviewed publications and you will extend the use of ML/AI techniques to other fields of research at DMI.
You will work in close collaboration with dedicated and highly qualified scientist colleagues in the NCKF Satellites and the Arctic unit and from other units at DMI.
