And are you interested in growing your career in a fast-paced environment within one of the world’s largest and most successful biopharmaceutical companies? If so, you now have the opportunity to join Research Chemistry, where we are currently looking for two new associate scientists to join us.

About the department

Research Chemistry is involved in the discovery and development of proteins and peptides for treatment of diabetes, obesity and other serious chronic diseases. We are organized in three departments mainly focussed on peptide and protein chemistry but also other molecular formats. The positions will be associated to the departments Research Chemistry 1, and 2. We are proud of our high technical standards and ambitions, our constructive collaborations and our good relationships across departments.

Depending on the tasks, you are expected to both be able to work independently or closely together with colleagues in the early research phase. It is expected that you eventually will be able to represent Research Chemistry in research project teams and, has a talent within compound design and the ability to acquire knowledge within new biology and pharmacology.

As a largely laboratory-based position, you will also assist in the development of novel automated synthesis and characterization workflows. You will be expected to critically analyse and interpret experimental data and prepare clear and well-documented findings for distribution to multi-functional project teams. Finally, to be successful in the role, we will expect that you proactively identify and resolve experimental issues, take interest in identification and progress of novel technologies, and perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting as required.

Qualifications
