Right now, we are hiring an Application Specialist to drive development of connected autonomous solutions offerings.

Your overall responsibility is to gather a comprehensive understanding of customer segments and applications needs related to connected autonomous solutions, formulate requirements for new features, services or other, participate in development, testing, demonstrations and trials of new solutions with critical customers and educate relevant stakeholders in our solutions. You will be an expert within autonomous technology and how products/solutions functions and operate within customer application and environment and as well as gathering solid understanding of competitor technology limitations and strengths. Your primary tasks will be to:
As we are a global organization and large parts of the job encounters engagement with customer applications around the world you get an opportunity to travel up to 150 days pr. year. You initially report to Amit Khamkar, who is the Global head for connected Autonomous solutions and the position could be based in Broendby (Greater Copenhagen, Denmark) or Budapest (Hungary) or Piacenza (Italy).
Technology-oriented Customer Applications Engineer
You probably hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering – or in another field of education like business, marketing or similar combined with a solid interest and understanding in technology which can be within the autonomous or robotics fields. You have experience with application and customer insights, business development or similar in a technology context. Experience in autonomous or mobile robotics is not mandatory but is an advantage. Specific experience in a relevant application like Facility Management Services / Building Service Contractors or other is an advantage. Further we are looking for a person who:

- Secure in depth understanding of customer segments & applications (Retail, Warehouses, Airports, Shopping malls, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing , Office buildings)
- Support validation of concepts with customers as well as demonstration and test prototypes, field test and release units with customers
- Support pilots and trials of the solutions with Big strategic customers
- Develop / propose innovative solutions to improve value proposition, reduce cost, improve margin
- Document and secure communication of test and customer feedback to internal stakeholders and partners
- Support autonomous solutions demonstration at global & regional trade shows
- Educate customers, partners and local sales & service teams on applications, solutions and best practices
- Participate in high profile customer meetings and demonstrations

- Is analytical and possess problem solving skills
- Understands and is interested in technology and trends
- Willingness to study and/or research new technologies as they pertain to autonomous vehicles
- Ability to complete work independently without constant supervision/direction
- Willingness to travel for work both domestically and internationally
- Can speak and present to a group of people in high profile scenarios
- Has a high level of energy and excellent at stakeholder management capabilities
- English language fluency is a must. Fluency in other key European languages like German, French, Spanish would be an added advantage.
- We are also interested in the applications of fresh graduates with the right technical ability and customer-focused mindset
