Maersk is strengthening its User Experience (UX) designer capability. We are looking for a UX designer with strong communication skills and who is used to collaborate closely with different user groups. We have 5 platform portfolios today where you will join the Order Handling portfolio and particularly focus on our pricing solutions. The role is expected to collaborate with all teams under your platform, across portfolios and collaborate closely with the UX community of practice (CoP).

As a Designer in Maersk, you are responsible for making things happen. You have the agency to run the design process in its broadest form, collaborating with others.
As part of a multi-disciplinary Product team, you are a champion for human-centered design and ensuring validated experiences. You can balance the tensions of desirable, viable and feasible as part of the continuous delivery of a long-standing team.
Your work will follow Agile practices, engage with customers to map and design their journey, and help the Product Owner build the backlog.
Responsibilities include:
• Bridge between users and our organization
• Facilitating ideation and co-creation sessions
• Rapid prototyping
• Validation and iteration of concepts / prototypes with your stakeholders (users, business)
• Be resourceful and creative to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.
• Alignment with business, IT product managers, (front-end) web developers, UX strategy, architects and brand
• Applying and extending on principles and guidelines
We expect you to:
• Have 3-5 years delivering design for digital systems, delivering measurable outcomes.
• Be a people person that builds strong relationships and recognizes and incorporates the perspectives of others.
• Be able to shape the design approach appropriately for the context at hand.
• Deliver in-line with the expectations you set, standing or falling as a complete team.
• Be experienced in a well-functioning agile environment.
• Be as happy shaping the direction as you are mucking-in.
• Confidently and defensibly be able to present your design.
• Believe in an evidence-based, continuous improvement culture.
• Be happy in an environment that is undergoing large change.
We are particularly looking for:
• 3-5 years of experience from and proven track record as UX designer within (Agile) software development in a product organization, in-house or at an agency
• Experience in working in an international environment.
• Fluent in the English language, both verbal and in writing.
• Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships.
• Analytical skills and user-centered approach.
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback.
• Great with design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Axure)
• Knowledge of modern web technology and cloud.
You are a great communicator and an acknowledged team player with a high degree of personal integrity. You are able to lift the bar and energize people around you, while maintaining a strong personal drive and the ability to get things done.
Your ability to collaborate with others will be key, along with an ability to present and defend holistic concepts at the top and bottom of the organization.
