Around the world thousands of farmers are working to secure food for the growing population. Pigs, chickens, eggs and even insects. We are looking for a UX Designer intern who can help us make products that people love to use. We focus on making the farmers interaction with our products as intuitive and simple as possible. Being a forward-thinking group, UX research and interaction design are the foundation of everything we do.
YOUR NETWORK
Great products must work for our customers, the business, and the tech stack. Because of this you will work closely with product managers, developers and of course your fellow UX’ers. The internals of our products are quite complex, but we want them to be simple to use for our customers.
You will have a mentor from day one who will focus on making your internship interesting and rewarding though a well-structured stay.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will work directly on our feed and climate controlling touchscreens – a key pillar in SKOVs product strategy. Your tasks will reflect the priorities of the backlog and you’ll collaborate with the team in bringing out new features. You should expect to participate in the design, implementation, and test of new features as well as deployment, operation, and support of existing features. This means:
WHO YOU ARE
The position is an unpaid internship for the 2023 spring semester. Flexible start date. The job location is our Headquarters in Glyngøre, Denmark, but flexible for remote work a few days a week. Most days you will work at the office in Glyngøre.

- Gathering user requirements.
- Developing wireframes and mockups clearly illustrating new functionlities.
- Build storyboards, concepts, and prototypes to present and validate ideas.
- Explore hypotheses, ideas, concepts and features though user research, competitor analysis, and user testing.
- Presenting your concepts to different stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE
- A graduate student (or advanced undergraduate) within UX designing or in related field.
- Fluent English skills, both in writing and verbally
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- You are highly structured and proactive
- Experience in design tools like Sketch or similar?
- Interested in the small details
- Wants to have a lot of responsibility
- Curious about problem solving and seeing constraints as an inspiration
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment in the farming domain
- Have a desire to expand your knowledge within design thinking
