Sensata Technologies Denmark develops Li-ion battery management systems (BMS), to control and monitor the increasingly and complex battery systems to support the green and sustainable transition. We are growing rapidly and are always looking for talented employees to develop and produce new generations of battery management systems for batteries in cars, trains, motorcycles, and solar panel energy storage.
As a System Test Engineer within our team, you will be crucial in understanding the requirements and perform the needed testing to ensure right functionality, reliability and performance of our systems. Our Test Systems are complex Hardware-In-Loop systems with a high degree of programmability/configurability.• Collaborates on the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective methods through testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing
• Key participant in test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products
• Organizes the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices
• Ensure that programs are in compliance with standards for good laboratory practices good manufacturing practices and/or good clinical practices
• May be responsible for setting the parameters and testing customer samples
Further responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with System-, Hardware- & Firmware- Engineers to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria to test.
• Define and implement Test Cases with traceability to requirements – to trace coverage.
• Perform testing on Hardware in Loop (HIL) test system.
• Maintain and extend test scripts implemented in Matlab and Python.
• Understand the capture the need for system validation for adhering to safety standards, e.g. ISO26262 and ISO13849.
Qualifications
• BSc/ MSc. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Good understanding of analog power electronics and digital electronics
• Programming skills for implementing test scripts in Python and Matlab and ensure configuration management using Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with development within well-defined standards and procedures and the ability to ensure compliance with these standards in all phases of development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) is preferred
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and requirements simultaneously, with a focus on timely and high-quality deliverables
• Proficiency in documentation, meeting quality standards and specifications
• Fluency in English - both oral and written - is necessary.
