We offer an exciting opportunity to obtain valuable insights into how we ensure strong business ethics compliance in Novo Nordisk, while developing compliance counsel and process optimisation skills in a truly international environment. About the department
The Business Ethics Compliance Office (BECO) develops and drives the implementation of Novo Nordisk’s global business ethics strategy and compliance programme to prevent fraud, bribery, and off-label promotion. BECO manages the global systems and processes related to tracking of payments to healthcare professionals (HCPs). Furthermore, BECO is responsible for driving the global Data Protection strategy across Novo Nordisk.
The team consists of 17 colleagues in Denmark and 9 colleagues in India. BECO is part of Finance & Compliance, which among other also include the internal audit functions in Novo Nordisk.
The position
To ensure that we never compromise on business ethics in Novo Nordisk, BECO is rolling out global projects and processes to support compliance throughout the organisation. With this internship, BECO offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the roll-out of these projects and processes across our global compliance organisation to line of business. You will support cross-functional projects with activities such as risk and stakeholder management, as well as training and communication. You will work across multiple teams and gain valuable insights into compliance operations, more specifically into Personal Data Protection and HCP transparency. Depending on your competences and fields of interests, you will be involved in additional tasks and projects in close collaboration with the teams.
- Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for six months
- Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
- Start date: August/September
- A Danish full-time work permit is required
Qualifications
We are looking for an intern who is currently pursuing a master’s degree in law with excellent results. You have a strong focus on business ethics, anti-bribery, personal data protection and strategic communication. You communicate and sell your ideas effectively both in person and digitally, and you can work with various stakeholders across our global organisation. You possess strong intercultural skills and is fluent in both spoken and written English. In addition, you are a high performer, proactive, have a strong digital mindset, and able to structure and cope with multiple tasks.
