You will join our Group HR Operation team
At our global HQ in Ballerup, Copenhagen, as our new Group HR Legal Manager, you will be part of the Group HR Operation team consisting of 5 other colleagues. We support HQ in Denmark within all areas of operational HR and have a collaborative approach helping each other out.
Your starting point for constant growth
You will monitor the employment law area in Denmark and work closely with HR Business Partners and leaders across the organization on highlighting compliance requirements and general legal duty of care towards employees.
You will collaborate closely with numerous internal and external stakeholders. Internally you will collaborate with – among others - Group HR, compliance, legal, finance and communication, as well as our HQ based leaders. Externally, you will collaborate with our local industry bodies and consultative forums.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will be:
Stakeholder manager with a business mindset
You have a solid understanding of business processes, compliance is second nature to you, and you are not afraid to challenge existing solutions. Also, with a cross-functional mindset, you navigate with ease across our organization, interacting with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Moreover, we expect that you have:
Furthermore, we expect that you are a strong communicator, who Listens, Challenges and Transforms. You are an analytical-, and fast thinker able to “translate” business needs into actions and execute on them. You have well-developed interpersonal skills, act ethically and you are able to stand your ground in a collaborative manner for what is best for GN Store Nord.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will be:
- Support leaders and HR Business Partners in all HR legal aspects, especially redundancies
- Ensure planning and implementation of legal requirements throughout the organization
- Supervise the compliance on GDPR and other global legislations
- Drive audit compliance and mitigation actions
- Align and update HR policies and templates and drive local adaption and addendums as needed
Stakeholder manager with a business mindset
You have a solid understanding of business processes, compliance is second nature to you, and you are not afraid to challenge existing solutions. Also, with a cross-functional mindset, you navigate with ease across our organization, interacting with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels. Moreover, we expect that you have:
- A relevant Master’s degree, or relevant qualification, within HR legal
- +5 years of experience working within the legal area in a similar corporate HR function, where you are an expert with the Danish employment legislation
- It will be an advantage, if your experience has been gained within a global complex matrix organization and that you have experience with global mobility, but these areas are not prerequisites
- You speak and write Danish and English flawlessly
