Are you passionate about HR administration and have solid experience with a wide range of HR admin tasks? Then maybe you are the one Rockwool is looking for to join their HR Admin & Payroll team in Hedehusene.



This is the team


It is a team of 5, of which 3 are working with HR admin, 1 focused on payroll and the Team Leader for HR Admin and Payroll. Together, they support all areas of ROCKWOOL Nordic region with the full range of HR administrative and payroll tasks.

You will have your own tasks. However, being a small, close-knit team, they are deeply dependent on teamwork, and everyone pitches in and covers for each other when needed. Right now, ROCKWOOL is growing, which means the team is focusing on supporting recruitments. When they leave the office in the afternoon, the day has rarely turned out as expected.

This is the role


You will be an important part of the HR team, where you play a key role in coordinating and executing HR administrative tasks and ensuring that HR is experienced as a service-oriented and professional unit. Alongside your team, you collaborate with the HR partners, other HR colleagues in the HR community and hiring managers across ROCKWOOL Nordic region. You will be supporting a specific area or business unit within ROCKWOOL.

Your tasks will have great variability and will include:
• Recruitment related administrative tasks, including handling of applications and assessments, coordinating and planning interviews, writing employment contracts and other HR documents for the Nordic countries
• Supporting Workday the HR people management system
• Supporting the maintenance and optimisation of the document management system, SharePoint and ROCKWOOL Intranet with guidelines, policies, templates, information messages etc.
• Supporting the HR Partners, Managers and HR Communities with general administrative tasks, critical in ensuring smooth operations, including entering and updating employee master data, scanning, archiving, and organising employee related data in the various information systems
• Coordinating the scheduling of training activities, events for employees and small events for applicants
• Assisting in developing presentations, templates and guidelines and other HR documents
• Participating in optimizing and digitalizing the administrative processes

Most importantly, you thrive delivering your own tasks, while remaining focused on the team effort and goals. You have a good cultural understanding and can service a wide variety of stakeholders. Sometimes this calls for your ability to be quite firm, yet kind in your communication, and you master that balance. Further, you:

• Are experienced in an HR administrative role
• Or you are newly graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree within HR admin
• Have worked in an international organization and preferably with the Nordic countries
• Have some knowledge of employment law
• Might have some experience with payroll tasks
• May have experience from a production company with both blue- and white-collar workers
• Are already acquainted with Workday or similar HR systems
• Speak and write English
