About your role

The purpose of the job is to provide Talent Acquisition services for Lowell including in-depth, recruitment expertise on all aspects of the hiring process for experienced specialist and leadership hires in a fast paced and highly competitive market.

A key focus will be on building a pipeline of potential candidates for aligned functions and roles that meet the business needs and five core Lowell values ensuring all candidates receive a best in class experience.

Qualifications

  • Responsible for ensuring that Lowell Nordics attracts and selects high-performing, high potential colleagues and contingent workers who will drive the business forward.
  • Responsible for regional candidate attraction plan for allocated vacancies and business areas; this will include full attraction contingency planning, job fairs, headhunting, events, direct advertising, CV searching, referrals and agency suppliers
  • To ensure that appropriate planning is undertaken prior to recruitment campaigns ensuring required resources are in place, i.e. interviewers, resource and training availability.
  • Partner your business areas, use initiative to drive recruitment and improve processes. Conduct market research and suggest changes which will be beneficial to the business.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to determine core capabilities/experiences for success in the roles within their scope, create a strategy for filling these roles and work with hiring managers in attracting the diverse candidates with the right skills and capabilities to ensure Lowell short and long-term business objectives, the values and culture.
  • Support and lead wider projects within people team
  • Partner functions with manage their talent agenda and lead demand planning & sourcing choices & build talent pool for those areas, define the attraction activity, lead the brief and sourcing strategy.
  • Deliver quarterly review meetings to stakeholders up to Exec level on recruitment performance, initiatives and statistics.
  • Plan for future recruitment needs by understanding what is happening within your business areas. Starting to pipeline and talent pool as applicable.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to discuss ways to improve the recruitment process and always remain up to date with future requirements. Keeping HM’s informed of any non-starters and suggesting a recruitment plan to backfill.
  • Be proactive and innovative in improving the recruitment process for candidates and the business.
  • Recruitment of senior hires in the Nordic business
  • Work closely with wider People services teams, Community of Expertise and Organisational Design Partners to provide uniform support to the business.
  • Oversee the offer process and manage agencies if and when applicable, working in-line with the agreed sourcing strategy and Talent Experience metrics. This position will require someone who can manage a high number of requisitions and organise multiple priorities during a business undergoing a large period of change and transformation.
  • Manage our agency relationship and provide review performance statistics to our existing agencies. You should also investigate and recommend new agencies if applicable.
  • Represent Lowell externally in the market place, network, and raise Lowell’s profile and employee value proposition.
  • Look at Lowell’s online presence and use initiaives to help develop and improve our online image further.
  • Provide reporting where required as to the progress of requisitions working closely to key metric targets but always providing the best candidate experience.
  • Champion and ensure the updating and continuous improvement of all Talent Acquisition technologies including e.g. Workday, Broadbean and any other technology platforms. Continuously evaluate the process of recruitment and suggest improvements.
  • Manage yearly budget and ensure we remain on-track.
  • Manage allocation of job board credits each month and ensure recruitment requirements are met.
  • All other ad-hoc duties as required within the role and by manager. Required experience

  • Experience of recruitment, attraction and selection, ideally within an agency and internal recruitment environment.
  • Headhunting experience (desirable)
  • Experience of managing relationships with third party suppliers
  • Previous experience of working in financial or professional services environment, preferred.
  • Proven experience of recruiting up to and including senior leadership positions
  • Experience of recruitment budget management (desireable)
  • Ability to manage varying role types at any one time and prioritise accordingly.
  • Experience of implementing recruitment strategy.
  • Stakeholder management and relationship partnership at senior level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ability to present.
  • Clear understanding of relevant employment and legislation What do we offer you?
