Do you want to be an integral part of identifying and driving Maersk towards a Carbon Neutral future, and do you have an interest in managing a strategic category within our Marine team that focuses on business optimization, global strategy, and stakeholder collaboration? - supporting our technical organisation on the many various innovation projects with key suppliers
- building and executing on an exciting and aggressive strategy to ensure cost leadership for our Brands
- engaging a large community of stakeholders, often at senior level, both internally and externally
- driving cross functional projects to deliver on our ambitious year-on-year cost reduction targets
The overall strategy for engines targets significant reductions in our daily running costs through optimisation of our maintenance strategies, demand planning and pro-active engagement with both Operations and Fleet Technology.
Your position and tasks offer you a unique opportunity to build a strong network in the marine industry as well as across the Maersk organisation.
We are looking for a candidate with anywhere between 5 - 10 years of experience in the marine market, preferably in an international company. Your educational background can be either technical, business-related or procurement. Excellent English written and spoken is required.
You need to possess refined communication and interpersonal skills, and you get excited by taking an active part in the transformation of our organisation to further support our customers needs. You are open-minded, curious and like to challenge both yourself and your surroundings to continously develop and reach the next level. You have a strong personal drive and take pleasure in working global diverse team.
You are good at solving complex business problems in a structured and analytical manner, e.g. via project management and negotiations. Effective communication to senior management will be an important part of your work.
