About the role:

As Talent Acquisition Manager it will be your role to implement the talent acquisition strategy to ensure we proactively source and attract the very best talent. As a strong ambassador for the company and the brands, you will passionately influence passive and active candidates to choose the Radisson Hotel Group as an employer of choice.

Working as part of our HR Team for Northern Europe, who are based in Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo, you will be able to put recruitment plans into action considering a variety of cost effective recruitment techniques including extensive use of LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms. You will support our hotels and offices in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, as well as offer support for our hotels in the Baltics. You will work closely with the hotels, the HR Business Partners and our Corporate Support Office to deliver a first class service that enables us to attract, recruit and develop a pipeline of talent at all levels.

This will be a demanding, hands-on role and you will be fully responsible under the leadership of the Area Director Human Resources for the following aspects of the employee life cycle; Attract, select and hire. You will screen, interview, conduct assessments and make recommendations on a daily basis. You will have proven experience as a recruiter in a customer driven fast-paced people heavy environment. It is essential that you are hungry for results, a team player, flexible, highly organised and tenacious to get the best results for the businesses you support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to enable you to co-create and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy for that is fit for purpose, considering the war for talent.
  • Evaluate property needs and implement recruitment plans, campaigns and activities including assessment activities per business and target group requirements.
  • Ensure that our hotels are skilled to execute recruitment processes and provide support when needed
  • Ensure proper talent attraction and employer branding activities, execution and communication and stakeholder (hiring managers and target employee audience) involvement.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees (current and former).
  • Develop and track facets of the recruiting and hiring process so that the processes are transparent and measurable.
  • Set continuous commercially focused improvement goals.
  • Together with the Corporate Support Office, develop and revise job adverts, descriptions and person specifications as per business needs/legislative updates.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in Talent Acquisition in a fast paced customer focused service industry.
  • A creative thinker who is customer centric with a proven track-record in Talent Acquisition for line employees and management level mass and specialist recruitment.
  • You are excellent at building relationships, attentive and can strike a rapport with people enabling you to influence at all levels.
  • You enjoy a challenge and demonstrate initiative and ownership in all that you do.
  • You have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the courage to challenge others where necessary.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and other HRIS systems. Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English as well as a Scandinavian language
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and work effectively in and across international teams.
  • Open to some travel and will accept a flexible work schedule.

Additional information:

Target start date: As soon as possible - ideally by December 1st.
This is a maternity cover so it is a temporary position for the duration of approximately 12 months.
