In the Site Start-Up department and in the Patient Recruitment & Retention team, you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
In this role you will support LEO Pharma’s global clinical trials with ensuring that patients are recruited for clinical trials. You will be responsible for developing strategies and tactics, to support trial teams and clinical trial sites globally to set them up for success in searching for patients to include in the trials. Quality and time is of essence to ensure that LEO Pharma’s medicinal products are developed according to expected timelines, for the benefit of patients suffering from medical dermatology indications across the LEO Pharma portfolio.
- To develop and ensure execution of strategies and tactics for patient recruitment, for the LEO Pharma clinical trials, on global, regional and country level
- Liaise with Clinical Project Managers, CRAs and medical/scientific affairs to ensure that patient recruitment strategies are prepared to assess competitive landscape and local standard of care to identify potential trial participants
- Support CRA teams to identify patient recruitment and retention challenges that sites are facing and work on possible solutions for sites
- Drive analysis of the challenges, and support the solution finding process, drive development of relevant metrics within patient recruitment and communication of these
- Work with patient recruitment and retention vendors to identify services which will support the patient recruitment and retention strategies
- Support LEO Pharma’s site and patient engagement strategies
- Train the LEO Pharma organization and site staff in topics related to patient recruitment and retention
Your qualifications
- Minimum of a Batchelor in science or nursing or equivalent/relevant education and/or related experience gained in clinical research
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role and/or extensive clinical trial research experience from different roles
- Strong knowledge base of the drug development process including trial procedures at clinical trial sites, CRA functions, trial management or alike
- Strong project management and documentation management skills with the ability to foster high-performance in cross-organizational teams
- Ability to work independently on strategic and tactical complexity levels within patient recruitment and retention
- Strong digital and technological skills and interest and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Danish proficiency is not a requirement
You have an outgoing personality and highly developed situational judgement that complement your ability to establish positive relations and deliver quality work with a positive mindset, in the ambitious and high-performing LEO Pharma culture. Cross-cultural experience will give you a head start, and to succeed in this job, you must be able to maintain a good dialogue with the involved parties.
