Global Procurement in LEO Pharma is divided in several teams including Operational Procurement in which we are currently recruiting an Operational Purchaser to help on achieving our ambitious targets by supporting our French affiliate as well as our Danish and other international intern stakeholders.
As an Operational Purchaser you will become part of a diverse, dynamic, and international team reporting to the Head of Operational Procurement and work in close collaboration with your colleagues in the Category Management teams and the Tactical Procurement.
The position is placed at our headquarters in Ballerup.
The job
As an Operational Purchaser you will work in a highly dynamic environment on supporting internal stakeholders in France, Denmark and potentially all over the world, throughout our Purchase to Pay process.
Therefore, your main responsibilities as a Purchaser in Operational Procurement will be to:
Ensure daily that the items and services are purchased from preferred suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions Provide support in implementing and following corporate purchasing policy Cooperate with Category Managers in evaluation and managing suppliers and vendor relationships to secure terms that are in the organization’s best interest Negotiate with LEO Pharma suppliers to get best offers Source for purchase value below 50.000 EUR Validate specifications for requisitions to be purchased Prepare and check contracts/work orders and ongoing follow-up Ensure continuous supplier management and interaction Assure high service level and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders Solve issues related to Purchase Orders
Your qualifications
The ideal candidate for the position hold qualifications within the following fields:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree Familiarity with procure-to-pay processes Interest in market dynamics along with business sense Ability to gather and analyze data for sourcing process Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions Very good interpersonal and communication skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French (any further language is an advantage) Experience within SAP (additional advantage) As you will work closely with stakeholders in LEO Pharma and engage in a diverse field of suppliers, an understanding of commercial drivers as well as change management and negotiation skills are fundamental for success in the job. Excellent stakeholder management and communication are equally obvious and relevant skills.
