Do you want to join a dynamic Procurement team and help shape the future of the supply chain at one of the world’s most famous loudspeaker manufacturers?
Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for a Project Purchaser to work at our HQ in Skanderborg.
About the job
You will become part of our Project teams developing new products being responsible for all Procurements tasks in these projects, working according to our stage gate model. You will work closely with colleagues in R&D, Product Management, Planning, Sales and Production to ensure continuous development and world-class speaker production. You will drive our part of the project from initial idea and cost estimation to prototype and first orders for mass production.
You will work together with the Strategic & Project Purchaser and Procurement Manager to solve procurement tasks and play a vital role in ensuring a solid sourcing strategy.
Other projects may be cost down projects, in/out-sourcing, implementation of new vendors and engineering changes to optimize our supply chain.

About the department
We are a team of six dedicated colleagues in Denmark and China with three nationalities. Our workday is characterized as busy and challenging, but there is also time for jokes. We support each other with our different backgrounds within production technology, purchasing, sourcing, and project management.
About you
You have basic Supply Chain knowledge and have previous experience working with supplier contact or sourcing in project teams. Your technical understanding and overall sourcing skills are higher rated than your exam papers. Attitude over education and being eager to learn are key qualities for us.
Furthermore, you match these requirements:
You are well-versed in the usage of IT-systems such as ERP and PLM (we use D365 and Windchill), as well as Excel and MS Outlook. Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus.
We expect you to be fluent in English, both written and spoken, as this is our corporate language.

You will work together with the Strategic & Project Purchaser and Procurement Manager to solve procurement tasks and play a vital role in ensuring a solid sourcing strategy.
Other projects may be cost down projects, in/out-sourcing, implementation of new vendors and engineering changes to optimize our supply chain.
Your primary responsibilities
Lead all procurement tasks in new development projects according to our stage gate model:
- Estimate BoM and tooling cost in the early stages
- Create and maintain sourcing overview
- Order prototypes and samples
- Order tooling and create tool agreements
- Create and maintain overview of financial cost for investments
- Responsible for consultant, supplier, price and quality agreements
- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors
- Benchmark suppliers in the project phase
- Participate in FMEA meetings
- Convert Procurement’s input into solutions.
- Source suppliers, initiate business and organize partnerships
- Ensure early supplier involvement in the development phase
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Project management within supply chain optimization projects
About the department

- Your background could be from Supply Chain, Project management or similar as Category Buyer or Technical Purchaser.
- You have at least 2 years working experience in project teams, preferably within the categories of metal, wood, moulded parts or/and electronics.
- You possess a technical understanding that will enable you to make sound decisions about purchasing together with other project participants.
- Experience with ISO/IATF16949 is a plus, but not a requirement.
- You possess the drive to make things happen and see them through.
- You are result-oriented, have a pro-active workstyle and have a go-get attitude
- Your global mindset helps you engage and create relationships with stakeholders of many cultures.
- You are a tough negotiator, yet likable.
- You have an analytical mindset and a structured approach which allows you to work with a large array of different personalities and obtain the best solutions.
