Dynaudio, the legendary Danish speaker maker, is looking for a new Category Buyer to work at our HQ in Skanderborg.
About the job
As our new Category buyer your main responsibility will be to ensure On Time Deliveries, best possible prices, terms, and conditions as well as a sustainable supplier relationship. Furthermore, you will be part of different cost-saving and supply chain optimization projects.
You will work closely with colleagues in Planning, Production, Sales, Customer Care and R&D to ensure we continuously develop and produce world-class speakers.

About the department
We’re a team of 5 dedicated colleagues in Denmark in an international environment with 3 nationalities. Our workday is characterized as busy and challenging, but there’s also time for jokes during the day. We support each other well, having different backgrounds and various key competencies within production technology, purchasing, sourcing, strategic and project management.
About you
You have in-depth knowledge of the workings of a Supply Chain in a manufacturing company and have previous experience as a Purchaser or Category Buyer. You are familiar with handling different categories, preferably within metalwork, foam, wood, molded parts, cables, packaging or similar.
You are well versed in the usage of IT-systems such as ERP and PLM (we use D365 and Windchill), as well as Excel and MS Outlook. Experience with Jira/Confluence is a plus.
English is our main company language, so you’ll need to be comfortably fluent in both writing and speaking.

About the job
As our new Category buyer your main responsibility will be to ensure On Time Deliveries, best possible prices, terms, and conditions as well as a sustainable supplier relationship. Furthermore, you will be part of different cost-saving and supply chain optimization projects.
You will work closely with colleagues in Planning, Production, Sales, Customer Care and R&D to ensure we continuously develop and produce world-class speakers.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Handling daily purchase orders, send out purchase orders and receive confirmation.
- Sending FCST to suppliers.
- Act on action list in ERP system + additional side contra orders.
- Close communication with suppliers to ensure deliveries are on time and in agreed quantity and quality.
- Push/communicate with suppliers on deliveries via. available platforms. Skype, Phone, WeChat, Mail, and other platforms required to fulfill our demands.
- Invoice workflow/edits and approval in ERP system.
- Ensuring agreed KPI’s are obtained.
- Maintaining master data in ERP system according to internal procedures.
Your secondary responsibilities will include:
- Vendor and/or category responsible - occasionally in corporation with a Strategic Purchaser.
- Commercial handling of claims towards suppliers.
- ECR handling within own or defined BuyerGroups/suppliers.
- Initiate NDAs, supplier agreements, contracts, bond stock agreements.
- Negotiate and benchmark cost and terms within own or defined BuyerGroups/suppliers.
- Own projects: Benchmarking on existing items at existing suppliers/Send out RfQs.
- Supplier follow-up meetings.

- Your educational background could be from Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Development or similar, preferably at bachelor’s level. However, solid work experience in a similar position is valued higher.
- You are comfortable negotiating prices and terms as well as initiating discussions with suppliers - even on painful topics
- Experience within Chinese culture and business methods is preferable
- Experience with a BI-tool, PLM system and perhaps JIRA is a plus.
- As a person you possess the drive to make things change and see things through.
- You have a pro-active workstyle, and you use your analytical skills to foresee challenges and problems in the Supply Chain, also when facing opposition.
- Your sense of structure enables you to work with a large array of different personalities
- Your global mindset helps you engage and create relationships with stakeholders of many cultures.
