An exciting opportunity has become available for a newly created role within the Group Procurement team.
About the role
In this role you will essentially be working as the Procurement Manager for a given Product Line, setting the strategic direction in close collaboration with the Product Line Manager, selecting and negotiating frame and price agreements with preferred suppliers in close collaboration with the Category Management Teams.

Your responsibilities will be:
- Serving as the single point of contact for Product Line Management (PLM) with regards to strategic product sourcing and procurement
- Collaborating closely with PLM and Engineering in driving product revenue and profitability
- Creating, maintaining and improving Product Sourcing Plans (PSPs) to meet cost, quality and lead time objectives with a full life cycle perspective
- Driving deployment of and monitoring regional compliance with the PSPs and address deviations
- Ensuring PSPs are optimized globally while considering regional/local requirements to the extent required
- Designing PSPs for smooth execution including pre-negotiated price lists and agreements and usage of qualified and approved suppliers
- Supporting regional product order execution by providing the required product sourcing knowledge to the respective region through PSPs and training
- Representing Procurement in product related R&D and value engineering projects
- Monitoring global inventory levels and engages in optimizing product inventory strategy
- Where applicable, working closely with Product Manufacturing centers to ensure capacities and capabilities are available to meet forecasted revenue plans
You have:
- A Bachelor/Master’s Degree in relevant area or the equivalent experience
- Relevant procurement experience from Heavy Industry products
- In-depth knowledge of procurement and global sourcing
- Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationship and working in cross-regional/cross-functional matrix
- Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
- Service mindset
