Senior Project Manager for Global Projects, Cement Industry
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a desire to work with international projects? This is your opportunity to join and contribute in one of Denmark’s biggest and most experienced global project organisations.
About the role
You will be fully responsible for executing projects around the world and with your drive and experience ensure world class execution of your projects. You will be the single point of contact towards the client and using your project management and leadership skills you will ensure timely deliverable within budget and with top-class quality on your projects. With your leadership skills you understand the importance of motivating your team as well as keeping a good and close customer relationship.
About Cement Industry, Project Execution
Our cement project portfolio in Global Project Execution vary in size from a few million EUR up to three-digit EUR figure contracts and the scope can be on both EP and EPC terms. You will get your own project portfolio with execution of several projects simultaneously.
Your responsibilities will be:
You can expect 30-60 yearly travel days relating to visiting customers, sites, contractors and our offices around the world.

Your responsibilities will be:
- Manage internal and external stakeholders as well as keeping a good and close customer relationship
- You have a positive personality that motivates your team and you enjoy working with different types of cultures
- Ensure right project specifications, optimal staffing, proper guidance and coaching
- Ensure proactive follow up on planning, technical and contractual issues
- Deliver progress and status reports to the management
- Perform ongoing governance and risk management on the projects
- Support sales during the final proposal phase with the clients
You can expect 30-60 yearly travel days relating to visiting customers, sites, contractors and our offices around the world.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or the equivalent knowledge acquired
- You have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an international environment with a successful track-record within heavy industrial markets
- You have strong people skills and a drive to create interdepartmental relationships, streamlining business processes and contributing to business results
- You have a good contractual understanding and experience with client relations, just as you have a proven understanding of risk and how to mitigate it
- You are comfortable working and communicating across cultures, functions and different levels in an organisation and speak and write English fluently and it would be an advantage if you also speak French or Spanish
