In Internal Audit you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.
The job
You will be providing independent, objective, assessments and advice to the Audit Committee and Senior Management:
- You will lead and perform Internal Audit assurance and advisory engagements through:
- Mapping business processes
- Developing work programmes
- Conducting fieldwork
- Benchmarking and evaluating processes for improvements
- Recommending solutions
- Presenting results to Management
- You will follow-up reviews to monitor and track the implementation of agreed improvements
- You will assist in planning, and development of the annual Internal Audit Plan
- You will research, analyse and share relevant best practices and benchmarking to support Internal Audit recommendations
- You will also contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the Internal Audit standards, manuals and techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our work
Your qualifications
- Relevant university degree with business emphasis in a related field
- 5 - 10 years in an external or internal audit role, with a recognised finance and/or audit qualification, (CIA, CISA, CFE, etc.) being an advantage
- Understanding of the IIA principles and application of corporate governance, business and operational risk and controls processes and procedures.,
- Prior experience of SAP and/or data analytics preferred, in either business, risk management or audit role
- Experience in leading and conducting investigations would be an advantage
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required, and other languages are an advantage.
You will have solid planning, coordination and facilitation skills, and should feel comfortable interacting at all levels in the organisational hierarchy. You are action oriented and proactive, with a drive for execution, without losing the eye for detail. Our global environment requires a collaborative, open-minded and pragmatic attitude, including the ability to understand that there may be more than one solution.
Your new team
You will join a dedicated, diverse team of Internal Audit professionals, committed to establishing the function as a recognised value-adding, capable and effective assurance partner. We're all about building an innovative, creative and diverse Internal Audit team, and constantly challenge both the business and ourselves to be better at what we do.
You will be encouraged to work with a high level of autonomy and independence, and be tasked with driving the Internal Audit function forward. In this global role, business travel of around 20-40 days per year should normally be expected.
You will report to the Head of Internal Audit, based at LEO Pharma headquarters in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark.
