We are looking for a Third-Party (Anti-corruption) Compliance Specialist and a Manager to join our team.

LEO Pharma has embarked on an ambitious journey to become the world's preferred dermatology care partner. On this journey, an effective Compliance program is a must to ensure that anti-corruption risks are mitigated – importantly, also those posed by third-party intermediaries that act on LEO Pharma’s behalf.
The key purpose of the role is thus to support and drive the development, implementation and operation of a strong Third-Party (Anti-corruption) Compliance Management program and process in line with regulators’ expectations and better practice. This will enable LEO Pharma to perform anti-corruption due diligence on prospective third-party intermediaries, identify and mitigate red flags and risks, as well as ensure continuous monitoring.
You will be joining a dedicated team within the Global Risk and Compliance Office, reporting to Director, Global Risk and Compliance.

The job
This is a unique opportunity for you to join a team with high ambitions and really shape how Third-Party (Anti-corruption) Compliance Management (TPCM) will be done at LEO Pharma. In this role, you will be involved in the following activities:
- supporting/driving the development of the TPCM program, including governance, policies and procedures, process, tools, and templates
- deploying an IT system (provided by an external vendor) that will automate the TPCM process, and ensuring the system operates seamlessly
- rolling out the program and process across the organization, including training various stakeholders, raising awareness, and similar
- executing the process, including performing anti-corruption due diligence on in-scope third-party intermediaries, identifying and mitigating risks and red flags, and performing relevant monitoring activities
- achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
You will work with various stakeholders across LEO Pharma, including Procurement, Finance, Legal, etc. You will also collaborate closely with other teams in the Risk and Compliance Office (especially, Regional Compliance and Operational Excellence & Reporting).
To succeed in the role, strong research, communication and stakeholder management skills will be required. And equally so will precision, attention to detail, and ability to comprehend and analyze a lot of information quickly.
Your qualifications
We envisage that you have a master's degree in business administration, law, audit, or similar. You may be relatively early in your career with 1-4 years of experience (specialist) or, alternatively, are a more seasoned professional with 5+ years (manager). Importantly, you have hands-on experience (and interest) in conducting due diligence (e.g., covering anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, etc.), performing know-your-customer (KYC) research, or similar.
In addition, you have:
- knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., US FCPA, UK BA, etc.)
- experience working with screening tools such as, e.g., Dow Jones or World Check
- a flair for process automation and, perhaps, experience with IT systems that automate third-party risk management processes
- intercultural proficiency
- precision, attention to detail, and ability to “get to the bottom of things”
- good knowledge of MS Word and Powerpoint
- good command of English, written and spoken.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or medtech industry is not a must but is considered an advantage.
