We are seeking an experienced IT Control Assurance Manager / Senior Manager to lead engagements in our steadily growing practise. We work as a dynamic team with a high degree of individual empowerment, responsibility and flexibility.
IT Control Assurance is a very important part of our services, and our goal is to provide excellent IT Control Assurance Services to internal and external clients. We are delivering independent IT Assurance reports (primarily ISAE 3000 and ISAE 3402) to both smaller and some of the largest global IT service providers. Furthermore, we are an integrated part of the Audit teams, responsible for testing General IT and Application Controls as part of the statutory financial auditing of our clients.
Our expectations - Role & Responsibilities
You probably have 5+ years of experience in IT audit or similar with a good understanding of relevant audit methodology. Knowledge in ERP systems such as SAP or experience in Data Analytics (D&A) is a merit.
You will lead IT Audits and Assurance engagements of large and medium sized clients supporting our fast growing business as well as working closely with our respectively Audit and Advisory service lines across KPMG's challenging and exciting diverse business functions. You will need a good understanding of the standardised and well-known international control frameworks, besides an extensive knowledge about risk and controls supporting a complex IT environment. Further, we expect fundamental knowledge of impact related to an audit as a whole, and you will be supporting the audit teams in planning, performing and concluding around the IT related risks in the audit.
As our company language is English your skills must be excellent both verbal and written. Danish language skills are also preferred, as the majority of our clients are Danish.

As an IT Control Assurance Manager / Senior Manager, you will be working with a variety of engagements, in close cooperation with our Clients and financial auditors. You will especially:
- Plan IT Audit strategies with KPMG's Financial Audit teams
- Brief the IT Assurance team and prepare the engagements
- Ensure high quality project management of IT Audit Engagements, including being the client's day-to-day point of contact
- Conduct a certain level of IT controls testing yourself
- Perform QA of the work of your colleagues and team members
- Report verbally as well as in writing to financial auditors and the clients
- Work on proposals and business development initiatives
Subject to your current experience, you should expect to get full responsibility of engagements, IT Control Assurance teams and client relationships from start.
Qualifications & Skills
Our new colleague(s) should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Higher degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or Engineering from an accredited educational institution
- 5+ years of documented experience within IT Control Assurance, either with IT Audit or ISAE-type attestation reports, or alternatively experience as an Audit Manager, with strong interest for IT
- Specialized IT skills that can be used in relevant projects, i.e. on ERP-systems, IT Security, IT Infrastructure etc.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams and complex work streams and gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
- Ability to travel within Denmark and abroad as required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Danish.
