About the Department
Project & Alliance Management manages the internal research project portfolio and the external alliances across all therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk. We are a team of 15 colleagues, most of us based in Måløv, Denmark. We have key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk and as a team, we all have extensive experience from the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
The Position
As Senior Alliance Director you will have an important role in the execution of Novo Nordisk’s external innovation strategy. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of alliances by securing the execution of contractual obligations and mutual agenda, maintaining an interactive relation with the external partners and the internal teams, collecting input to and preparing project progression reports and partner strategic recommendations to senior management and risk mitigation plans. You will be responsible for alliance kick-off, alliance wind-down, and conflict resolutions, and you will negotiate alliance amendments and terminations. You will also act as a central point of contact for matters relating to internal and external communication.
Qualifications
You hold a degree within natural sciences and have +8 years of relevant experience in global alliance and project management from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. You have experience in negotiating and reading contracts, in collaborating across organisations and cultures, and you have good commercial/financial understanding.
As a person you are positive, engaged, proactive, flexible, structured, and result oriented. Professionally, you have strong skills in stakeholder management, networking, and communication.
