Would you like to help secure the future of Novo Nordisk? We are looking for a trusted advisor for our Line of Business as well as our colleagues in Global IT.
Novo Nordisk continues to add new technologies to complement our existing IT infrastructure network and IT systems. We need your expertise to identify the right level of security controls for these technologies. This is truly an option to make use of your knowledge and talent within the field of information security.
About the department
You will join the Global Information Security Management department, based in Global IT in Denmark. You will be part of a global information security community with 40+ colleagues located primarily in Denmark, USA, and India.
Our Global Information Security team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from network security, white hat hacking, cloud security, cryptography, security operations, to manufacturing security and security risk management and governance.
In Global IT, we manage critical IT systems, services and infrastructure used along the entire value chain of Novo Nordisk. You will be joining an organisation of around 1000 colleagues in Global IT. Our users across Novo Nordisk are at the centre of our work.
The job
You work closely with our colleagues in Global IT Operations as well as our colleagues in Line of Business. You will primarily work with new projects, where you will either act as a fully integrated project member or as a trusted advisor, depending on your expertise and our priorities. The strong management support for driving information security across Novo Nordisk will give you the foundation to focus on security controls and finding the right balance in a jungle of possible results.
The job is located in Bagsværd, Denmark with travel activity of max 30 days per year.
The position provides a high level of independence and ability to manage and prioritise your time and work, although a high workload can be expected in peak periods.
Qualifications
We expect that you have 10 years of experience within the field of information security.
You will succeed if you are a strong communicator and capable of building relationships and engaging people at all levels of the organisation.
You have at least a Bachelor degree within IT, or comparable education. In addition to this, you have relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA, or knowledge and experience equivalent to these certifications.
You are known to be positive and diplomatic. It is easy to panic over all the IT security threats arising in the world, and you must be able to keep cool and find realistic solutions that can work without breaking all budgets and timelines.
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
