The Cyber Security Solutions/Delivery Platform Owner is accountable to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to define and deliver fit for future cyber security solutions for the continuous mitigation of cyber security risk across Maersk. The Solutions/Delivery Platform owner drives delivery of the defined roadmap and backlog for the Cyber Security Organization.
The Cyber Security Solutions/Delivery Platform Owner has the following primary responsibilities:
•Responsible for the delivery of the Cyber Security risk mitigation solutions to agreed performance targets
•Manages and controls the Cyber Security change budget (circa $50m per annum)
•Direct Leadership of a Team up to 100 persons and matrix leadership across other Platform and Infrastructure Teams
•Committed to the continuous improvement of platform performance (e.g. reduction of run cost, improving reliability, ease of onboarding for platform customers, etc.)
•As a member of the Cyber Security Leadership Team, connecting with various teams to support strong integration and cooperation between Teams and collaborative ways of working from Operations, Risk, Plans and Delivery
•Responsible for effective and collaborative stakeholder engagement across the Enterprise including Infrastructure Teams and Business Platform Teams to ensure timely and cost-effective integration of solutions.
•Develop and build strategic relationships with external parties (software vendors, research companies, industry bodies, and strategic partners) to ensure the definition and delivery of engineering is future proofed and in line with industry best-practice.
•Hire and nurture world class talent in the field of the platform and advocate Maersk technical and delivery capabilities to external talent pools to build Maersk brand as a world class technology player.
•Develop, coach and support permanent members of the platform (circa 100 colleagues), promoting world class practice in technical architecture and product management and continually benchmarking against industry standards
•Role model Maersk Values and Behaviours.
•Recent and extensive experience with leading agile/scrum delivery of complex cyber solutions in a global setting.
•Demonstrates a combination of a highly technical engineering leadership and highly developed business insight.
•Extensive and successful experience as a respected people leader and committed to a servant leadership style.
•Credibility as a trustworthy and dependable leader able to lead and guide both in house and third-party teams.
•High level of emotional intelligence.
•Ability to lead improvement and corrective initiatives as needed and ensure the learnings are captured and built into the platform delivery.
