Vestas Legal, Risk & Compliance Group Legal Legal IPR
The Group Legal department at Vestas is looking for a Corporate Legal Advisor to join our Intellectual Property (IP) Legal team located in Aarhus, Denmark.
The team handles and coordinates legal tasks on both a group and regional level throughout Vestas on all matters related to intellectual property and regulatory matters, including supporting on sales projects, technology development, marketing, IP agreements and IP related disputes. As a Corporate Legal Advisor in Group Legal IPR you will be working closely with stakeholders across the business at all levels.

Responsibilities
Your tasks and responsibilities in Group Legal IPR will be diverse and include:
- Draft, negotiate and manage IP related agreements, including in turbine sales and service agreements, license agreements and R&D agreements
- Handle IP disputes
- Assist on divestments, acquisitions, and third-party collaborations
- Develop and support business processes, strategies, and best practice governance with a focus on protecting Vestas' IP assets
- Provide sound ad hoc legal advice to internal stakeholders worldwide within a wide range of legal areas
- Perform legal training across Vestas
Qualifications
- You have a master’s degree in Law
- 3-5 years of experience from a large law firm or as an in-house counsel in an international company
- Great legal and professional skills, including broad knowledge about intellectual property law and experience with international contracts and preferably also litigation
- International experience or exposure
- Fluent English skills, spoken and written

- Great social skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders across the global organisation
- Solid business understanding combined with a service-minded attitude
- A keen interest in continuously learning and developing
- The aspiration to be an integrated part of our team and willingness to walk the extra mile when needed
- Ability to deliver results and take responsibility

- Organised and efficient with a good ability to define priorities and figuring out the necessary processes to get things done and create value
